Recently I came across an Alert Message while I was trying to upload an attachment file using Gmail’s offline facility. An alert message popped up, which said, “Adding attachments while Offline or Flanky Mode is currently not Supported. We know this is tooootally lame. But don’t forget, Aufait.in Mail didn’t have basic stuff like drafts when it launched. We’ll keep working on it.”
Though the year 2009 started on a positive note, last week turned out to be a week of mistakes.First it happened in Aufait.And then at Google. Both were human typographical errors.The impact was high.Both were solved within half an hour.
As the year 2008 is all set to become a part of history, we Aufaitians celebrated perhaps our last get together of the year. It was our annual tour conducted on 21st and 22nd of December to the mystic land of Wayanad. Crowning the majestic Western Ghats with its lofty ridges coated with dense forest, deep valleys and chilling waterfalls Wayanad is unarguably one of the most sought after location by the tourists. The participation rate was high as expected. Almost all except the fairer sex were participated. It turned out to be a successful and enjoyable one. An escape from the daily chaotic life to some lively, green, soothing experience was really refreshing and rejuvenating.
A name can mean a lot if your hearts are into it. And becomes more meaningful if you plan to live with it. Often, We meet people who are curious about “Aufait” ’s origin and meaning. We’re not quite sure of what makes them curious.But, one thing we are clear now: Aufait is standing out and thats what we wanted it to be.
It all restarted with our recent client visit. The client pointed out the “Sir” culture in Aufait. It was followed as a practice in Aufait that subordinates addressing superiors with “Sir”. Probably it has something to do with the Keralites’ culture. Read more…
Recently, our Sales&Marketing Head had an interview with Channel World Weekly. He talks about the current focus areas: Airlines and Real Estate ,and how Aufait stands out from the crowd by providing alternative software solutions which assure ROI to the clients. Plans are on the anvil to build up strategic alliances with its Indian counterparts.
